Powerline With Brother Jon Rivers
One of the most popular Sunday morning shows on Top 40 radio in the '70s, '80s and '90s was “Powerline,” hosted by Brother Jon Rivers. A show that aired for 34 years on over 2,000 stations across the U.S. that filled listeners with current hits and inspiration through Bible scripture and positive motivation. Well, that show is now back with Brother Jon making a compelling presentation of the Gospel through music and concise, entertaining talk with the audience. He also helps listeners realize that no matter how miserable and painful their life could be at that very moment, there is hope and there is faith!
Brother Jon Rivers is known to longtime locals as the former VP of programming and morning host, signing on Christian radio KLTY in Dallas back in the '80s, and also hosting the nationwide morning show on the K-LOVE radio network. Brother Jon formally resided on a ranch in Hico, Texas, and now lives on a ranch northwest of Fort Worth.
