Fireworks Will Close Out Independence Day Events with a Bang

July 01, 2018

The Granbury Chamber of Commerce proudly presents another top-ranked Fireworks Show over Lake Granbury on Wednesday, July 4th beginning at approximately 9:45pm. This hugely anticipated event is the climax of the 44th Annual Old Fashioned 4th of July Celebration.

Once again, the Chamber will present one of the largest fireworks shows in North Texas with a variety of pyrotechnics. The presentation is ranked in the top 10 in the Southwest and not only provides a visually exciting exhibition, it also presents a patriotic music soundtrack synced by KPIR 1420 AM. Make sure to tune at approximately 9:40pm for a special presentation from the Chamber CEO, Mike Scott, as he kicks off the show.

If you’re looking for the best places to view the fireworks, the Reunion Grounds offers the highest point in Granbury to view the spectacle. Come early for the Red, White and Battle of the Bulls beginning at 6:00pm and stay for the best seat in town! Other great areas to view the fireworks are the City Beach, Hewlett Park, and along Highway 377 between Big Lots and Morgan Street. Of course, there’s nothing like watching the fireworks right from the lake! So, bring your boat or rent one while you’re here and get your spot early to witness this fantastic display of pyrotechnics.
